Expansion Unit Control Function
While viewing the value displayed on the main unit’s monitor, you can perform fine sensitivity adjustment for the expansion units.
When FS-T2 expansion units are connected to the FS-V1 main unit, the FS-V1’s display can show received light intensity and can show the sensitivity of the expansion units. You can adjust the sensitivity of the expansion units in fine increments, while viewing the received light intensity of the expansion units on the FS-V1’s display.
Digital Monitor
The sensitivity or received light intensity is digitally displayed on the monitor for optical alignment and maintenance work.
Two display modes are available;excess gain display (percent) and received light intensity display (4 digits). The display allows you to easily find dirt or dust on the fiber unit tip or a misaligned optical axis. After performing one-touch calibration, you can adjust the sensitivity in fine increments while viewing the value displayed on the monitor. This adjustment allows for more accurate detection based on the line conditions/speed.
